Elke von Summer is a beautiful 2 year old long haired German Shepherd.  She seems to know that she gorgeous but graciously does not flaunt it. Our kennel staff describe her as "sweet and cuddly" because she is so affectionate with people she meets.  Besides being housetrained, Elke walks nicely on leash.  She has fun playing with soft toys, especially the ones with squeakers in them.  Elke has been in play groups with other dogs but, as soon as they are not looking, she nips them on the tail to see if she can stir up a little mischief. She means no harm, she's just playful and a tease.
